NBA players, past and present, tend to be off vacationing in the summer, and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan is no different. Jordan regularly heads off to Europe this time of the year, and he was spotted with his wife, Yvette Prieto, in Kefalonia, Greece, earlier this week.

Jordan appeared to be enjoying his time in Greece, and he has now made his way to Sicily, Italy. Taormina News 24 reported that the 63-year-old arrived in the waters of Villagonia Bay on his 74.5-meter superyacht “M’BRACE.”

This yacht was built in 2018, and Jordan reportedly purchased it for $115 million in 2022. He and Prieto were spotted aboard it on the French Riviera in 2023. Then, in 2025, Jordan was seen vacationing aboard it in Croatia with his extended family. It sure appears to be his favorite.

As for this trip, La Sicilia reports this is the third time Jordan has visited Sicily. He first visited Taormina in 2023 and was then accompanied by Prieto and their two daughters for the second visit in 2025.

This time around, Jordan browsed through the shops on Corso Umberto, wearing dark sunglasses, white shorts, and a blue t-shirt. Prieto wasn’t spotted with him, but a couple of friends were.

According to La Sicilia. Jordan often stopped to admire the shop windows. He also took a look at the flowered balconies and the rotisseries. Jordan didn’t seem bothered by the fact that a crowd was following him. He is probably used to it by now.

Jordan is, of course, among the most popular athletes in the world today. He is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time, having won six NBA titles, six Finals MVPs, five MVPs, one DPOY, and 10 scoring titles.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
