2 Min Read

The Los Angeles Lakers are competing for a championship, and it is clear that they were going to get a lot of veterans in free agency that were ready to chase a ring. However, a key part of their offseason has also been the future of some of their free agents. One of those players was Talen Horton-Tucker who has been slated as a promising prospect by many connected with the team.

It looks as if Horton-Tucker will be staying with the team on a new deal. Adrian Wojnarowski has recently reported that the Los Angeles Lakers have signed him to a new deal worth $32 million.

Talen Horton-Tucker has shown some promise in the minutes he has played. He is a capable slasher with a developing jump shot. Although he doesn’t have large amounts of experience, he can definitely slot in and be a contributor on this Los Angeles Lakers team.

It remains to be seen what role Talen Horton-Tucker will play with the Los Angeles Lakers this season as they have made a lot of new additions to the roster. However, it seems as though they have a plan in place for the young guard, as they have rewarded him with a brand new contract. Hopefully, Talen Horton-Tucker can reach his potential, and take a step forward towards it this season.
